About Bookend Designs

I stumbled into the world of designing for indie authors. It started with me emailing an author to tell her she was using something illegally and I didn't want her to get in trouble. I ended up working for her for about a year before moving on and doing my own thing. 

First and foremost I am a mom. My daughter is my world and I love being able to stay home with her and watch her grow. She is 4 1/2 months old now and I'm trying to get back to my normal, which means working out daily. I sit all day for work and breastfeeding so I need that 30-60 minutes of activity so I don't feel like I'm 80 years old! I have the best husband a girl could hope for. He's my best friend and the best father to our daughter. She's been a daddy's girl from the moment she was born. 

I love spending time in Photoshop creating new images for authors and friends that help them. I've been using Photoshop for about four years now. I still learn often, mostly by error, and implement my new found skills in my work.
